WINDCHIME

            

Windchime is a 1981 Tartan 37C we purchased in May 2000.  We've made extensive upgrades to nearly every facet of the boat to prepare her for cruising.  The picture below shows her sailing in Block Island Sound in August 2003.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT

OVERVIEW:  Sleeps seven, Head with shower.

FORWARD CABIN:   Large V-berth forward with 6” cushions (2004). Storage and custom built 35 gallon waste holding tank under v-berth (2004).  Odor-safe waste tubing. Hanging lockers port and starboard. Three-drawer bureau starboard. Overhead hatch with custom screens. Two opening ports with screens.

HEAD:  Groco Model K Toilet (2003), sink and shower with drain in sole. One opening port with screen.   H & C pressure water with fresh water manual backup.  Medicine cabinet and storage out board in two lockers. 

MAIN SALON:   Hanging locker to starboard, pull  out settee to starboard with 60-gallon water tank under, storage behind and pilot berth above.  “L” shaped settee to port with 30-gallon water tank under, storage under and behind.  Drop leaf table, hatch above with custom screen., two dorade vents and seven opening ports with screens. CD stereo with two speakers.   Custom flip-up teak trimmed Formica galley side table.  New cushions (2004).              

GALLEY:   Aft to starboard. Three burner Princess propane stove with oven and solenoid gas switch.  7 cubic foot icebox with Sea Frost  engine-driven and 12V refrigeration (2003). Pot pan and dish storage aft, above counter.  H & C pressure water with fresh water manual backup, salt-water manual pump. Two stainless steel sinks. 

NAVIGATION STATION:  Aft to port faces forward.  Full size table with chart storage and three drawers.  Double quarter berth aft of navigation station with 50-gallon fuel tank under.  Access to engine compartment under companionway.
